Workshop on the implementation of state policy in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency

On February 9, this year, a working meeting on the implementation of the state policy in the field of energy saving and energy efficiency improvement was held in Petropavlovsk under the chairmanship of the Acting Head of the KSU "Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services of the North Kazakhstan region" A. Aubakirov.

During the meeting, Managing Director for Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency of JSC "Electric Power and Energy Saving Development Institute" D. E. Baigunakova spoke, touching upon the current situation in the Republic of Kazakhstan on the implementation of step 59 of the Plan of Nations "100 concrete steps", namely, the development of mechanisms for energy service contracts in the region, the formation and maintenance of an energy efficiency map, as well as the application of service contracts based on PPP principles.

The meeting also touched upon issues related to the implementation by the subjects of the SER of the North Kazakhstan region of the norms of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency Improvement" regarding the formation and maintenance of the State Energy Register, timely and reliable submission of information to the Institute, as well as the mandatory energy audit.

Following the meeting, the participants received detailed information about the work of the mechanism of energy service contracts and the application of service contracts based on PPP principles.
