Workshop on the results of the implementation of the state policy of energy conservation and energy efficiency in 2016 and plans for 2017

February 15 this year in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk under the chairmanship of the deputy akim of the East Kazakhstan region Aktanov S.K. a working meeting was held on the results of the implementation of the state policy of energy conservation and energy efficiency in 2016 and plans for 2017 with the participation of representatives of the JSC "Electric Power and Energy Saving Development Institute".

The key audience of the meeting was made up of heads of local executive bodies, large industrial enterprises and subjects of the State Energy Register in the East Kazakhstan region.

Speakers during the meeting were: Director of the Center for Data Collection and Processing Bokaev E.A., Director of the Center for Expertise, Management and Monitoring of Projects of the Institute A.A. Kabykenov. and project manager of AIS GER (Kazakhstan GIS Center LLP) E.T.Dzhumabaev.

According to the results of the assessment of the activities of local executive bodies on energy conservation and energy efficiency in accordance with the Order of the Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 264 dated December 12, 2014, the East Kazakhstan region with 29 points is on the 2nd place in the rating among other regions of Kazakhstan.

Following the meeting, Aktanov S.K. set specific tasks for the heads of regional departments, akims of cities and districts on the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State, the Comprehensive Plan for Energy Saving and Increasing Energy Efficiency of the East Kazakhstan Region until 2020, called on the heads of industrial enterprises and GER subjects to intensify work on energy saving, strict implementation requirements of regulatory legal acts affecting the scope of activities on the issue under discussion, expressed confidence in further fruitful cooperation with the Institute.
