On March 14 of this year, JSC "Electric Power and Energy Saving Development Institute" (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) together with the State Institution "Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services in the West Kazakhstan region" held a working meeting on the implementation of state policy in the field of energy saving and energy efficiency in the West Kazakhstan region, namely, the passage by the subjects of the State Energy Register of a mandatory energy audit, the formation and maintenance of the State Energy Register, the formation and maintenance of the Energy Efficiency Map, an explanation of the mechanisms of energy service contracts, public-private partnership for projects in the field of energy conservation.

The meeting was chaired by K.S. Sharafutdin, Deputy Head of the Department of the West Kazakhstan Region; A.M. Maratov, Manager of the Data Collection and Processing Center, spoke on behalf of the Institute. and Chief Manager of the Center for Expertise, Management and Monitoring of Projects Zhanarys D.A.

As a result of the meeting, the deputy head was invited to work out issues on joint work on planning and implementing a PPP project - modernization of street lighting in Uralsk, by submitting an application for including projects in the Energy Efficiency Map. Further interaction of the Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services of the West Kazakhstan region, the department of the Committee for Industrial and Innovative Development and Industrial Safety of the West Kazakhstan region during the year with the Institute for the implementation of state policy in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency.
