A national training in the field of energy efficiency and energy audit was held in Astana

Within the framework of cooperation of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the Islamic Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO), on the occasion of the Astana EXPO-2017 international exhibition, a National training in the field of energy efficiency and energy audit was held in Astana on the basis of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the assistance of the Kazakhstan Association of Energy Auditors and the JSC "Electric power and energy saving development Institute".

The main purpose of the training was to promote and encourage energy audit in various sectors of activity, as well as to increase the potential and identify best practices for energy conservation in the interests of a sustainable, "green" economy. More than 30 people took part in the training – representatives of the subjects of the State Energy Register, energy audit organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as territorial departments of the Committee for Industrial Development and Industrial Safety of the Ministry of Investment Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
