The signed document provides for cooperation in the field of energy saving and energy efficiency improvement, as well as the implementation of investment projects in Kazakhstan for the modernization of boiler houses and small thermal power plants with the installation of Japanese gas turbine generators with the function of cogeneration.
A cogeneration gas turbine plant is an efficient energy-saving system for the production of two or more types of energy, for example, heat and electricity within one installation. Kawasaki gas turbine units provide more than 80% efficiency. The advantage of cogeneration is not only energy efficiency, but also the preservation of the environment. The basis of the system is a gas turbine, one of the advantages of which is a low level of CO2 emissions, this helps to reduce the impact on the environment.
