XI Eurasian Forum KAZENERGY

The XI Eurasian Forum KAZENERGY is being held in Astana, which is one of the key events of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017 "Future Energy". The Forum's program is aimed at discussing issues and problems related to the effective management of sustainable energy sources; control over the production, storage and use of energy resources; ensuring access to energy sources; climate change and reducing carbon dioxide emissions; stimulating the use of alternative energy sources; implementation of energy efficiency programs, etc.

During the session "Energy Efficiency and Innovation: key factors for achieving a global energy transition", the following speakers were made: Mr. Steffen Jot, Deputy Director of the Department of Energy Systems and Services of the German Energy Agency dena, B. A. Smagulov, Chairman of the Board of JSC "Electric power and energy saving development Institute", Mr. Akihiko Miyamoto, President of the Organization for the Development of New Types of Energy and Industrial Technologies Nedo, Mr. Scott Foster, Director of the Sustainable Energy Division of the UN EAC, and Mr. Leonid Shenets, Director of the Energy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
