Round table on the topic: "Energy-efficient urban lighting in Kazakhstan" in Astana

Today, on October 10, Astana hosted the first round table on the topic: "Energy-efficient urban lighting in Kazakhstan".

Turchekenov S., Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "Electric power and energy saving development Institute", made a welcoming speech, noting that in Kazakhstan there are all prerequisites for the complete modernization of street lighting with the introduction of energy-saving technologies, production of lighting products has been created, local executive bodies show an active position and desire to modernize urban lighting. To do this, it is necessary to increase the competence of all stakeholders in the planning and implementation of street lighting modernization projects.

During the round table, street lighting tools were discussed.

The key audience consisted of experts on PPP models, heads of energy service companies, representatives of local executive bodies and interested persons in the implementation of PPP projects.
