Energy saving of Karaganda region attracted investments from Russia

As part of the implementation of the 59th step of the National Plan "100 concrete steps to implement five institutional reforms", on May 17, 2018, a round table was held in the regional akimat of the city of Karaganda under the chairmanship of Deputy Akim of the Karaganda region Anatoly Shkarup. The round table was held with the aim of implementing joint projects within the framework of the Energy Efficiency Map.

During the work of the JSC "Electric power and energy saving development Institute", a Russian investor, EnergoProfit LLC, was attracted.

At the dialogue platform, EnergoProfit LLC presented the mechanism for implementing energy service contracts, the impact of state support and implemented projects on the territory of the Russian Federation.

According to the results of the round table, the participants identified pilot projects on the PPP mechanism in the field of energy saving and energy efficiency. Also, the deputy akim of the Karaganda region was instructed to work out issues related to the implementation of a joint project with a Russian company.
