Innovative technologies in the field of rational use of natural resources

On May 23, 2018, Astana hosted an international symposium on "Innovative technologies in the field of rational use of natural resources", organized by the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy together with the Honda Foundation with the support of the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For the discussion of the expert audience, new approaches to management in the field of environmental, economic and innovation policies were presented on the example of Japan, as well as a look at new challenges aimed at the effective use of natural resources, their protection and restoration.

The panel sessions discussed the following topical issues of modern innovative technologies in the field of green economy: innovative technologies and legal aspects for the effective use of natural resources (industrial policy, various reforms in the field of advanced technologies), successful examples in the field of rational use of natural resources in the practice of eco-technologies (best practices of Japan and Kazakhstan), future technologies for a sustainable society (development of human resources for the transformation of the industrial structure).
