On October 8, the VI Belarusian-German Energy Forum on the theme "Energy-efficient buildings"was held in Minsk.

Chairman of the Board of the JSC "Electric power and energy saving development Institute" Smagulov Baurzhan Amirzhanovich attended this event and considered examples of the introduction of "Smart" technologies in the Republic of Belarus.

According to the press service, "The forum is aimed at strengthening mutually beneficial and long-term cooperation between Belarusian enterprises and German companies, introducing the latest technologies, mastering the production of innovative products and attracting foreign investment to Belarus."

From the Belarusian side, representatives of the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, the Department for Energy Efficiency of the State Standard, GPO Belenergo, GPO Beltopgaz, BNTU, design and scientific institutes, energy companies, financial and other organizations took part in the event. From the German side – representatives of the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy (BMWi), the German Energy Agency (Dena), the Federal Union of Energy and Water Management (BDEW) and others.

On the part of the Kazakh delegation, Arman Alibayeva, Director of the Research Institute of Standard and Experimental Design (Institute of Housing) LLP, a representative of the KSK Association of Almaty, chief expert on energy management and audit, the International Center for Energy Efficiency, Resource Conservation and Ecotechnologies "PRO ECO" made a report on the maintenance of internal engineering networks of educational facilities with the introduction of energy-saving measures under the PPP mechanism, as well as Rashid Sharipov, Director of the Center for the Development of Standards of JSC "Kazakh Research and Design Institute of Architecture and Construction".
