Meeting on the implementation of the state policy of energy saving and energy efficiency improvement in Oskemen

On February 12 this year, a seminar-meeting on the implementation of the state policy of energy saving and energy efficiency improvement was held in Oskemen under the chairmanship of the Deputy Akim of the East Kazakhstan region, S. K. Aktanov, with the participation of representatives of JSC "Electric power and energy saving development Institute" (hereinafter-the Institute).

The key audience of the meeting was made up of akims of cities and districts of East Kazakhstan region, heads of departments of the akimat of the region, large industrial enterprises and subjects of the State Energy Register for the East Kazakhstan region.

During the meeting, the head of the regional Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services, Musatayev M. X, made a report on the current situation of the implementation of energy saving measures in the region. The Institute was represented by A. A. Kabykenov, Director of the Center for the State Energy Register, on the formation and maintenance of the SER, as well as Zh.S Akhmetov, Director of the Center for International Cooperation, on raising information awareness in the field of energy saving among the population.

We remind that the day before the above-mentioned event, an expanded meeting was held with the participation of the akim of the region on energy saving issues. Following the meeting, S. K. Aktanov gave a number of specific instructions on improving the energy efficiency of the region, set tasks for the heads of regional departments, mayors of cities and districts to implement the instructions of the Head of State, called on the heads of the subjects of the SER to intensify work on improving the energy efficiency of enterprises.
