Eurasian Business Forum on Renewable Energy and Waste Recycling
From July 3-5, Nur-Sultan hosted the only forum in Central Asia on waste management and renewable energy - "Green Energy & Waste Recycling Forum 2019".
Within the framework of the 2nd day of the "4th Eurasian Business Forum on Renewable Energy and Waste Processing" (GEWR19), organized by the Kazakhstan Waste Management Association "KazWaste", the Director of the Center for International Cooperation of the Institute, Akhmetov Zhanibek, made a report. The topic of the relationship of energy efficiency with the sphere of waste processing was touched upon, for simple understanding - the higher the energy efficiency of production, the less industrial waste and vice versa. For comparison, the energy intensity of Kazakhstan's GDP is twice as high as the global average, so on the one hand, it is necessary to develop and support waste management measures on the part of the state, and on the other, to increase the energy efficiency of production in order to reduce waste in the future."
