The World Bank is taking the initiative to continue working on improving energy efficiency in the industrial sector

Today, JSC "Electric power and energy saving development institute" together with representatives of the World Bank held online negotiations on the following priority areas of cooperation:

1) Regarding the scaling of the project "Improving the energy efficiency of Kazakhstan" implemented by the Institute, within the framework of which it is planned to continue this project using market-oriented mechanisms. 2) The World Bank is taking the initiative to continue working on improving energy efficiency in the industrial sector, within which the Institute is actively working to determine the interest of industrial enterprises in Kazakhstan, including subjects of the SER.

3) Issues of technical support of the World Bank in the development of a long-term Master Plan for improving Energy efficiency in various sectors of the economy. The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides support in the implementation of projects to improve energy efficiency.

For its part, the Institute provides full assistance in cooperation and implementation of these activities.
